Great song. Dance is a great drug and even while I drive, my feet are keeping a beat! 👍 😊

I love music, I play music most of the time while I'm working with the exception of during Zoom meetings and phone calls. When I was at the office I used ear buds, but now that I'm working from home I have a bluetooth speaker on my desk.

I always have music on in my car, usually cranked up... and I am usually singing along and tapping the steering wheel to the beat.

I wrote just recently about re-finding disco - this time as an accompaniment to working out.

OMGosh, I am 73. I got caught boogying in my pickup truck. I do not recall the exact tune. Probably "In the Middle". I was waving both hands about at same time. Head jerking about.
Got to a four way stop. Then I spied the patrol cop in the police car laughing looking right at me.

"Nah!! not at me." I thought. He has something funny on the radio. S u r e., lol.

We used to dance a lot....I even took lessons through Arthur Murray when my Mom solicited for them when I was about 18. I also learned a lot from Mom & Dad as they were great dancers...........NOW ..bones start aching when we try to dance! Age seems to destroy lots of moves we had back in the day!

It’s been a major drag with all the places to go dancing shut down, sadly some permanently. Fortunately we have a great old school radio station in the city that’s taken up the slack, crank it up and dance around the house while doing chores, get some exercise at the same time, lol, my front room about the size of the dance studio I spent years in, hmmm where to put the barre??

It’s hard to pick just one song from the 80’s, I used to do the music for lots of parties in my teens and 20s, Donna Summer, Gloria Estefan, Earth wind and fire, hair bands, so many more. yeah those were the good ol days, nothing but good memories.

Don't ask me why, but I visualized the song in a dark cabaret setting.

Honestly, I haven't danced legitimately since the heyday of the eighties, and early nineties. Those were definitely the days!

In my much, much younger days my father & some of his family had taught me how to do the Jitter Bug At family gathering; he & mom or one of his sisters & I with an aunt would get out on dance floor If I were to attempt that today; I'd probably would throw a hip or something else

I haven't had a proper dance since New Years Eve 2019. At this rate, NYE 2021 will be the next one?

Work can be very stressful. I have some cool people I work with. It's to avoid that stress with jokes and sports. I'm a lover, but no dancer,LOL!!!

So glad that music makes you want to dance my friend, it does that for me as well. And this is such a great song by Sam Smith. You know you have to keep it light at work, like with laughter as you said sure makes the day pass quicker and make it more fun everyone at work. I hope things continue to go well for you and keep dancing my beautiful friend..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..
