My niece posted on that face place about my older brother being taken to hospital yesterday. Seems he was having some difficulties getting about, not being able to stand etc. After admit they determined he was having some heart issues, and they tested for Covid, which came back neg. They'll be running more tests today to determine the exact nature of his problems. Like me, I assume he has H.B.P. issues. A condition we inherited from our Mother. Mom never, or I should say seldom took her medications...Why should I? " she'd always say....I feel fine I don't need them. Her attitude use to ire my Sister, who was training to become a nurse to no end. Yeah, she may have felt fine...but she wasn't. H.B.P. sneaks up on you that way. One minute your on top, happy go lucky, the next your left arm is numb and your chest feels funny. Before you know it your unable to move your body the way you always did. Your speech becomes slurred, and for some reason you can't open both eyes as the left one remains shut no matter how hard you try opening it. My mom passed after her third stroke. Hopefully my brother didn't inherit Mom's mule like attitude in regards to following their Doctors advise and taking their medications when they were supposed to. Me, I've learned from Moms error in judgement, and take my Medications daily. I'm thankful to my niece, she reminds me a lot of my sister. In the health field herself she knew enough to get my brother in to the hospital, who was, like our Mom denying there was a problem. Saying he didn't need to go in and be checked out..he felt okay...yeah no. In some ways I get it, the attitude that is. We're in the middle of a pandemic...the last place anyone wants to be during this crisis is someplace where your open to catching something you really don't want. But, and I can't stress this point enough..if your having problems health wise.. don't hesitate get yourself in to a hospital, or to your doctor. It may be nothing after all, but let the professionals make that call.

Off to shower now....

Sorry to hear about your brother, hope all turns out well. I'm been guilty of "there's nothing wrong with me" too. But in recent years, I've bitten the bullet and have been going to the doctor, at least twice a year and the dentist for some much needed dental work. My meds have increased over the years, but with each exam, we're finding that as I age, these conditions are slowly creeping up, but are being caught and curtailed. Have a good one.

Oh no! I hope he does what they tell him to do. I'm as healthy as a horse, feeling great most days, but I still take my HBP, Chol. meds and inhaler for asthma daily. I'm not stupid.

Have a great day, and be nice to one another.

Having been through one life scare with cancer I follow all the rules and meds. Keeps me going to read sad stories like this one. I am so sorry you have a stubborn person to worry about. Hopefully, it will be minor

Maybe this will help your brother learn to take better care of himself. I'm praying for him.
