 No, not the net. I can do that anytime. But I've always wanted to try my hand ( or should that be feet ? ) at surfing. Trouble is the closest ocean is about four hundred and change miles away from me, and although the lake is cool and all and can be a great spot to spend the day boating or swimming at the beach. The waves usually don't get large enough to do any surfing.

I think the closest I've come to it would have to be on my skateboard back in the day. Though I doubt that riding the waves would be the same as riding the asphalt. Falling off your board would be better as well. No skinned knees, or road rash. Then again surfing has it draw backs too I suppose. Sharks come to mind, and doing a face plant on the water might sting as bad as doing on a road surface. Still it's always something I've been keen on trying out.

Another thing I've always wanted to do was para sailing. It just seems like it be a fun thing to do.

I don't know why I chose this topic to blog about today? Woke up restless I guess? Full of pent up energy for some reason? Judging by the condition of my bed this morning I must have been moving about quite a bit last night. I have no idea what I was dreaming about? Must have been something fun though.

Oh well time for me to hop into my shower and get the day started. ( humming the Beach Boys hit Surfing Safari )

 Never thought about surfing or para sailing but have considered going up in a hot air balloon 😊 There is a place about sixty miles away that does balloon rides . I have seen them up on occasion when going along the interstate from Cheyenne to Denver 🤠

They do the Hot air balloon fest in Meadville every summer (the pandemic year was canceled of course ). Hundreds of balloons, think they give rides as well. Never been to it my self, but local news casts always run the story. Have a good one Cowboy.

 Years ago while visiting the ocean, we would jump up as the wave rolled in and ride it to the shore. It was loads of fun. I bet a surfboard would be more exhilarating. The bad part was when we would accidentally get the salt water forcibly shot up our nose. Ugh

Better your nose than someplace else right? I swam in the ocean ( trip to Fla. ) But didn't get the chance to surf. Have a good one Pony!
