Desperately Seeking . . . Part 2 :(


Didn’t think there would be a Part 2 so soon did ya? Well it seems like my surprise of finding potential race cars on FB was a bit premature. Not because there aren’t any there, there are, but because FB is worse than this place when it comes to faulty operations. I’ll explain . . .

This AM I was perusing one of the FB groups and came across a car seemed like a potential candidate. I went to message the owner and up pops a message says there has been “suspicious activity” on my account. There are only 2 things I’ve been doing on FB recently; logging on, logging on is only suspicious because I rarely use FB because IMO it is a sewer.

The second “suspicious activity” would be I was on a portion of the site I had not been on before and/or I was messaging people regarding their items for sale. I guess my inner-(FuckBookHookups/terr0rist/etc) needs a race car.

So, evidently, using FB is a “suspicious activity”. This is supported by the fact FB’s only real purpose is to obtain data on people and knowingly sell it to others who will use data in illegal ways . I give them as little data as possible.

So now my FB account is inaccessible since they are NOT going to get my phone number. Anyone have a work around so I can get back on and find a race car?

EDIT: I can see the cars since the group is "Public" but I can't contact the people.

It seems like they want a number to, so they say, verify I am who the account belongs to. So a phony number probably won't fix it. Annnd, once they have a number they are sure to sell it to whomever will pay them.
