Meh Community I posted on the new community and nada. No idea if anyone has seen it or looked at it. Cannot see anything that resembles the "Recent Posts" on the good blogs. Saw something about "Trending" - I do not do trends. not impressed When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. |

Hey BL, long time . . . I've posted there and do not belong to any group. People have also replied. He did something I had thought about which was to combine the groups and blogs since they are very similar in that people post stuff to them. My biggest complaint is the layout - it sucks. It has been said Cornu wants it to be like a social media site like FunkBook - so he is aiming for the toilet. He also doesn't seem to understand KISS. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. Yeah I knew that . . . . I left out the word 'your' from " Didn't know about MG ". . . . grew up about a mile east of BL's Canadian HQ / holding yard and used to see tons of new BL products loaded on rail cars along the tracks 1/2 m north of the house. Youtube has a couple of good vids on the development (or lack of) of the TR7/8. A former boss bought a 7 new and used to regale me with stories about the crappy design, indifferent assembly quality and underwhelming dealer service. A trifecta for success !!! Yeah I knew that . . . . I remember when they tried that, we almost run out of real coke, people started hoarding it worse than TP..!!!! didn't take long for them to see the light,, when the product is not worthy , it can't be sold.. Didn't know about MG, but figured as a general carguy you might get it. Was going to reference the ancient tractor-like engines they insisted on putting in sports cars, or how the New Community Thingy is possibly the Stag V8 of websites but thought those refs to be too esoteric. Various Inc is the British Leyland of internet sites - - the same content badge-engineered with 50 different grills. The new site nomenclature is confusing too. Is my blog a blog ? Or a group ? I haven't been to the new community. After that freakin disaster of the Beta version, I haven't been interested in trying to learn to navigate that whole mess. Happy new year, As I logged on to the NEW COMMUnITY, I imediately seen a new face.. Welcome, it is like a new club, the first few weeks people are not sure of it, are the drinks good, will the ladies show up, is the place clean!!?? It is changing each day, bugs are getting fixed and even I , an ol Man can find the rest room on the first try.. They would not let me bring my bottle in though, something about a bottle with a handle on it.. So ho hum on that.. Red, Change is eneveatable, when power stearing was put on the automobile, I hated it, I could not feel the road as I was used to, now it is the norm and I feel every pot-hole easy!!! It will be OK. I promise!!! I will have you a cold one on the other side.. [image] Since Cornu will wipe out the blogs that tells me the new thing can't stand up to the old thing. I saw it and responded  To find new posts: On the left side of the page, under your picture, gear and the write post button, click blogs In the middle section, there are two pull down menus. Make sure the first one says Blogs and the second one says "new posts". I am doing this on my computer though, not sure if you're on a phone where things would be different.
