Terms Of Usage Not Endearment My buddy Ghost posted about what the site is doing with his, and others, blog posts. This is a follow-up of sorts that and also some / many other people think / believe that what is posted on the various Various Inc. web sites is theirs. First I will explain why I am including some other people. Many profiles a warning on them, some addressed Sydney University, which goes something like . . . WARNING: YOU DO NOT permission use any of my profile or pictures in any form or forum both current and future. If you or do, will be considered a serious violation of my privacy and will be subject legal ramifications. That is meaningless gibberish. The reason for that is these site(s) we are on an agreement called the Terms Of Usage (TOU). By being here and using the site(s) you agreed those terms. Those terms cover and override the meaningless gibberish warning and also cover anything having do with the content you post here. That content is anything and everything (words and pictures) you post on THEIR site(s). Below I posted section # verbatim of the TOU relevant to the above. I highlighted the pertinent wording. Grim Reality #1: Anything and everything you, as a of THEIR site(s), post here is theirs do with essentially as they wish. It does not matter whether you like it or not you already agreed . Grim Reality #2: The fact that private boxes become public has more do with the INCOMPETENCE of the site than any legal obligation keep private. Grim Reality #3: is NO legal obligation keep anything you post here private. Grim Reality #4: The obligation this business, or any business, has is make . I for one no expectation(s) that any for profit business would adhere any moral obligation. Grim Reality #5: I will truly miss ol Ghosty when the good old blogs finally shit the bed. From the TOU: . Even though I can't usually view profiles, I still some of them with that *warning* posted on them. Makes me laugh because as your post states....TOUs. That's one of the reasons I don't have a picture posted and one of many reasons why I don't post anything on my blog that is very personal in nature. And because of the Dark Side, when I found out my "private mailbox" was no longer private, I deleted most of those conversations. Not only do we have global warming to contend with, but also the fun times with FuckBookHookups and the Dark Side. Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!
