About Us

Lovin Spoonful provides a safe space for people of all persuasions to explore their sexuality without fear of judgment. The space we want to create is designed to be an oasis, where all people can feel completely at ease. Sex clubs are often intimidating or impersonal. We support creativity, personal growth, and deepening of community connection as essential counterparts to sensual and sexual exploration.

The Goal

Everyone who attends a Lovin Spoonful experiences a shift in their consciousness. Maybe through their negotiations in the playspace they learn something new about themselves or their partner. Maybe they release a long held perspective about gender or sexuality. Or perhaps they just let their hair down enough to really feel a sense of freedom and liberation. Our goal is to create a space that feels safe enough, and fun enough, and different enough from everyday life, that people try things outside their comfort zone.

The Spark Notes

The Do List Be creative about how you dress. Contribute when and where you can. State your boundaries. Play safely and consensually. Have sensible safe sex practices. Respect our space and each other. Clean up after yourself.

The Don't Do List Linger unaccompanied in play spaces. Cruise aggressively (even if they are really cute). Get too intoxicated. Take photographs. Use your cellphone. Gossip about what goes on here.

Never Alone System- NAS Whether you are male or female, if you want to come to Lovin Spoonful without a date these rules apply:

When you come to Lovin Spoonful you must bring a friend with you. Your friend can not be someone you don’t know. You must know them and trust them. Your friend can be the same gender, the opposite gender, or even a couple. You are responsible for your friends behavior and they are responsible for yours! If either of you violate the charter you will both be held responsible. You must arrive together and we recommend leaving together.
